The first day of this year’s Compliance and Ethics Institute has been a very valuable experience! First off, the venue is top-notch and I always enjoy coming back to my old stomping grounds in the DC metro area. A former colleague and I were able to join multiple sessions that were both educational and engaging. The range of sessions among the various tracks, as well as the pacing, have been just right. I find professional development to be a key differentiating criterion when I hire new staff, and I try to follow suit for myself, so I truly believe in the usefulness of the SCCE annual conference. I look forward to participating in an array of sessions over the next couple of days and I can’t wait to see what’s in store in terms of content and networking opportunities.
