What a great way to start off the conference! Volunteering for a service project is humbling and satisfying. I feel so good helping others – the motto at the Community Food Center is “A Hand Up, Not a Hand Out” – and we could experience the sense of dignity from the shoppers who patronized the store while we were there. Looking forward to next year’s project in Las Vegas! Thank you HCCA for organizing these projects.
