After flying almost 13 hours from Brazil to Las Vegas in order to attend 14th annual Compliance and Ethics Institute, I have the verdict: it is worth it!! This was an amazing conference, extremely well organized, with high level speakers (in love with Debbie Troklus and Greg Triguba – both are fantastic!) and very interesting sessions…the difficult part is to choose which session to attend because incredible sessions are happening at the same time.
The good news is that you can pick one session and purchase other sessions (SCCE has them recorded). Besides, I had a great opportunity to improve my network once I met many compliance officers from around the globe. So many interesting people! The advanced discussion sessions were also a great opportunity to share experiences and best practices with my peers (and also learn with them). You leave the room feeling that you are not alone struggling with compliance challenges. Not to mention the yoga sessions: you can start the day very zen!!! Definitely, this is the best compliance conference I have ever attended and I am looking forward to join 2016 Compliance & Ethics Institute in Chicago!
