Why attend the SCCE Higher Education Compliance Conference in 2018?
- Hundreds of Higher Ed Compliance Professionals
- 39 States/Areas Represented
- CECOs, Directors, Managers, and “Front Line” personnel
- Focus on General Topics AND Dozens of Specific Higher Ed Laws and Regulations
Truly, the SCCE Higher Education Compliance Conference is THE Premier Conference for Higher Education Compliance professionals. No other compliance conference in the world does more for higher education compliance professionals than this conference.
Topics discussed in 2017 included general items such as career development, individual accountability, centralized vs. decentralized structures, risk assessment, building a program, training, etc. as well as more specific issues such as free speech, export controls, ethics across generations, data analytics, the Affordable Care Act, and PCI.
In addition, there is the opportunity to hear from some of the “stars” in higher education compliance such as chief compliance officers from Stanford, Penn State, UC Berkeley, Xavier, Catholic University, and Ohio State, to name just a few. It is always interesting to learn what these top universities are doing in this field.
Then there is the networking. Where else can you go to have lunch and “happy hour” with so many other colleagues from across the country? Many of these people have helped me—and I have had the honor to help them—in starting a program or making an existing program better. The people here are great!
So…if you are reading this and wondering whether or not you should be part of the SCCE Higher Ed Conference in 2018, I hope you see why the answer should be “Yes!” This conference is a very affordable way to get your CPE or CLE or whatever you need and to rub shoulders with a lot of great colleagues in higher education compliance.
See you next year in Austin!!
