Following up our recent series of posts examining global anti-corruption and anti-bribery efforts is a look at these efforts in Pakistan. In a recent post, Muhammad Talib Uz Zaman, Program Officer at the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), discusses the recent exit of businesses in Pakistan due to corruption concerns, and drives home the point that trust is the key to success in the global business economy.

CIPE is leading the charge to identify and provide solutions to the corruption problem in Pakistan, and has recently published an Anti-Corruption Compliance Guide for mid-sized companies in emerging markets in both English and Urdu. CIPE is making great strides to bring anti-corruption solutions to the region, and is making these solutions available to a broader audience than ever before.

In his recent post, Muhammad Talib Uz Zaman discusses why CIPE decided to create this guide, and how it is providing a much needed solution to the Pakistani business community. So far, the Anti-Corruption Compliance Guide has been very well received by many Pakistani business associations, and is being made available on their web portals for training and reference.
