I obtained my CCEP designation last year and this was my first time attending the Conference. In addition to the educational benefits gained from attending the sessions, I also had the opportunity to share stories and experiences with others in our industry and compare the progress of my program with that of others that have achieved a more mature program.
Everyone I spoke with was willing to share their experience and even their own materials. I also volunteered to introduce speakers at two separate sessions which was a personal skill building exercise for me as I strive to improve my public speaking skill set through practical experience. The speakers were very gracious and made me feel more at ease with my self-imposed “stretch assignment”.
The sessions I attended were very informative and the key note speakers offered great advice and tips that I can take home and immediately apply to my daily operation. I am definitely planning to attend again next year. See you all in Vegas!
