The SCCE is the biggest and best gathering of compliance officers in one place. None of us can know everything about compliance. We often know only that portion that fits what our organization needs and the area for which we have our subject matter experts.
The CEI lets us tap into the knowledge of others, and then go home and pass it off as our own wisdom. That is some real professional ROI.
And remember that compliance officers, like everyone else, make mistakes all the time. This is not an exact science. So while it is good to learn from your mistakes, it is better to learn from others so you don’t make them as well.
