Corporate Compliance & Ethics Week was a Sweet Success!

The Corporate Compliance department did an outstanding job reminding us all how fun it is to be a kid, while sharing some very important compliance information. This year, the team came up with the creative theme of childhood board games for the 2016 Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week!

Throughout the week, the Compliance team invited employees to test their compliance knowledge through fun and interactive life-size board games including “Compliance Connect Four,” “Compliance Clue” and “Trouble.” Daily quizzes emailed to all employees provided tips, trivia and helpful information to help increase everyone’s awareness of the compliance efforts at HPP. As state and federal laws continue to change, it’s essential for us to know how these changes can affect our ability to serve our members.

To end things on a sweet note, Compliance staff transformed the Schuylkill Conference Center into the magical and wonderful world of HPP Candy Land! Participants traveled along the colorful path answering compliance questions while winning prizes and snacking on treats, including cotton candy, lollipops and hot cocoa. From Princess Lolly and Plumpy to Lord Licorice and Queen Frostine, the entire team captured the spirit and fun of all the characters from this nostalgic game.

Compliance Week took months of preparation, special thanks to the Compliance Week Planning Team; Michelle Perez, Lauren Graves, Annette Morales and Veronica Hammond for all the hard work – it was all worth it at the end!

Kudos again to the entire Corporate Compliance team for doing an amazing job all week and for highlighting the importance of ethics and compliance in our workplace!
