Not having a big enough budget is almost always a lament among compliance professionals. However, a lack of resources is often a symptom, rather than a complete diagnosis, of the underlying issue facing compliance departments.
This session will cover three main themes: reframing the budget discussion, ideas to stretch your resources, and useful tools that are free or almost free.
In reframing the discussion, we will examine “budget” in terms of resources that include money, time and talent. We will then explore ideas to stretch each of these three resources within the compliance program. Finally, we will share a list of free or almost-free tools to add to your compliance program arsenal.
