Bruce writes about ethics, character, and leadership for Fortune.  His books include The Good Ones: Ten Crucial Qualities of High-Character Employees, Ethical Intelligence: Five Principles for Untangling Your Toughest Problems at Work and Beyond, and for teens, Is It Still Cheating If I Don’t Get Caught?

He has appeared over 200 times as an ethics analyst on national television news programs, including NBC’s Today, ABC’s Good Morning America, CNN’s The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, MSNBC’s Live, CNBC’s Fast Money, Fox News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor, and Fox Business Network’s Cavuto.

He received a B.A. in philosophy from Swarthmore College and both an M.A. and a Ph.D. in philosophy with a concentration in bioethics from Georgetown University and the Kennedy Institute of Ethics.  He is also a W.K. Kellogg National Fellow and holds a certificate in film production from New York University.

Bruce lives with his wife Kristen Bancroft in New York City.  He enjoys spending time in our national parks, playing drums, and reading biographies about filmmakers, especially Stanley Kubrick.
