Well, I’ve done it. I’ve completed my first HCCA annual event. I’ve attended other similar events for other focus groups but I’m excited to report this one was chock full of beneficial content and many professionals that are more than willing to share their experiences and offer advice.
I really had no idea the general youth of the profession I have joined and that the world is really my oyster! I’m getting certified (although many who know me would say I’m certifiable -:) ) and WILL make a difference in my organization and in the profession as a whole.
So watch out – I’m on board, strapped in and ready to take on the world! I’ll see you next year armed with advice of my own to share with the next round of first time attendees!
