I am attending the HCCA Conference this weekend in Las Vegas this weekend, and so far is has been an exciting experience. I came from a background of Grievances and Appeals (7 years), and I am new to Compliance (1 year). The topics discussed so far are great for me as it is helping me to tie together some lose loops….if that makes any sense. With having G&A experience and now being the auditor of such business units, I am understanding both aspects.
This conference and speakers are providing me with the necessary tools to relay messages to both parties as to why things are needed and how we are able to work together collectively as a unit to achieve complete Compliance. I am looking forward to my career path in Compliance and I am also looking forward to attending more HCCA conferences in the future.
