They say the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. Well…My name is Nikita and I am a compliance professional. The SCCE Compliance and Ethics Institute is the best support group there is for people like us. We come here for answers, solutions, and networking, but the most rewarding of all is leaving with the comfort in knowing we don’t stand alone.
What we do everyday DOES make a difference. To be amongst people who “get it” is particularly refreshing and energizing. Every year I leave with fresh ideas about how I can do things a little different to be more effective and impactful. And every year I feel more and more like the expert I am being groomed to be!
I have a suggestion – I think it would be great to record a snippet from all of the professionals attending the conference to be compiled as a training for our respective management teams to help build the case for compliance. That would be a real tangible, living takeaway that would greatly benefit and bolster what we do!
